Exciting Zimbe Performance at Lichfield Cathedral
On 18th May 2016, Lichfield Cathedral will play host to an exciting collaborative choral project, Alexander L’Estrange’s ‘Zimbe’.
The concert will be performed by a group of Lichfield choirs including the Lichfield Cathedral Young Voices, Kaleidoscope Choir, Lichfield Cathedral School Choir, the Half-Circle Singers, and the Palace Singers. The group will be led during the performance by the talented Cait Hodgkiss, Musical Director of Kaleidoscope and former pupil of Lichfield Cathedral School.
The arrangement is a jazz piece based on African rhythms and songs, and is a thrilling, unique choral piece.
