Learning to Dream Again - Meet the Author
As part of the Lent programme of study and reflection, Revd Dr Sam Wells will be visiting Lichfield Cathedral to lead a discussion on his book, Learning to Dream Again on Wednesday 24 February, 12.30-14.30 in College Hall (by the south door of the Cathedral).
The book is the Diocese recommended text for study during the Lent period with a study guide (also distributed in paper form with the Jan/Feb edition of Spotlight) available to assist personal reflection.
This is an excellent opportunity to hear Revd Dr Wells present his book and how best to use it, with open discussions welcomed from the audience. The book takes the form of a series of short, thoughtful meditations, addressing a number of difficult personal and social issues, exploring Christian engagement within the broad culture of arts, science, aesthetics and medicine.
Whether you have had chance to study the book or not, this is an excellent opportunity to find out more and hear what the author has to say.
The event is free and open to all, teas and coffees will be available. If you would like to attend, please contact Kate Durrant at Lichfield Cathedral, via email kate.durrant@lichfield-cathedral.org or telephone 01543 306250.
