Thank you for your interest in joining our Artisan Market at Lichfield Cathedral. We’re excited to create a welcoming event celebrating talented local makers, artists, crafters and food producers from across Staffordshire.
Before You Apply
We’re looking for friendly, independent businesses offering high-quality handmade, locally produced or original products that are suitable for a cathedral setting and enjoyable for visitors of all ages.
We especially welcome:
- Small independent Staffordshire businesses
- Artisan makers, Artists, designers and crafters
- Locally produced food and drink
- Unique, original and handmade products
To help maintain the atmosphere and character of the event, we are unable to accept:
- Large commercial businesses
- Mass-produced or imported wholesale goods
- MLM/direct sales businesses
- Hot food vendors / Traders requiring on-site cooking facilities
- Products considered unsuitable for a church or family-friendly venue, e.g occult or spiritual items
All stalls and products should be respectful, appropriate and suitable for a cathedral environment.
Food & Drink Traders
We’re happy to welcome artisan food and drink sellers offering packaged or prepared products, who:
- Hold a current 5★ Food Hygiene Rating
- Provide valid food hygiene certification

As this market is designed to support local independent traders, applications are only open to businesses based within Staffordshire.

As we aim to create a varied, high-quality artisan market experience, stalls are carefully selected based on the quality, originality and variety of products offered. Applications are therefore not allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
We genuinely appreciate every application and will review all submissions carefully to help create a balanced and enjoyable event for both traders and visitors.
