In 2019 we had to close our ever-popular Tower Tours. We can't wait to reopen for guided tours and to allow visitors to see some of the hidden gems that have been closed to the public for so long.
Tower Tours end with a spectacular view over Lichfield, but also take you behind the scenes of the Cathedral to discover ancient statues, walkways, and mediaeval graffiti.
Tower Tours will reopen in June 2024
More details and tickets will be available soon! Keep an eye on social media for announcements or sign up to our newsletter for latest information.
Wanted! Tower Tour leaders...
We are searching for volunteer guides to lead these inspiring tours. The tours include climbing over 200 steps through narrow spaces up into the hidden spaces high above the Cathedral and out on to the rooftops and so guides will need to be able to complete this climb while delivering an informative and entertaining tour.
