Sir Jeremy Hunt to Headline Enlighten at Lichfield with Nick Higham

‘Can We Make Britain Great Again?’

LICHFIELD, UK – July 30, 2025 – Enlighten at Lichfield is proud to announce a special event featuring Sir Jeremy Hunt in conversation with acclaimed journalist Nick Higham. Titled "Can We Make Britain Great Again?", the discussion will take place on Saturday, September 27th at 18:30, as part of the Enlighten programme running September 26–28.

Sir Jeremy Hunt has held two of the most senior Cabinet roles in British government — Foreign Secretary and Chancellor of the Exchequer. As Chancellor since 2022, he has steered the UK economy through global turbulence. His time as Foreign Secretary (2018–2019) saw him actively engaged in international diplomacy on issues including Iran, Hong Kong, and press freedom.

His latest book, "Can We Be Great Again? Why a Dangerous World Needs Britain," explores Britain's evolving place on the world stage and outlines a compelling vision for the future.

Nick Higham, former BBC correspondent and widely respected writer, journalist and interviewer, will bring his signature insight to the conversation.

Canon Gregory Platten, leading Enlighten at Lichfield, said: “We’re delighted to host this timely and important discussion from someone who’s been at the heart of public life for two decades.”
