AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT...
Poets on the streets with typewriters? Hmmm. That’s what we thought.
But in honour of our first poetry festival, we’re bringing poetry to the streets of Lichfield – literally.
On Saturday (Oct 5) the ubiquitous Poets for Hire aka Tim Siddall will be in the city centre with his typewriter, writing poems on any subject, for anyone who asks.
Want a sonnet to say sorry to that certain person, or a haiku to describe your cat?
Poets for Hire have just the thing. They’ve got words and they’ve got typewriters and they’re going to be here in Lichfield FOR ONE DAY ONLY!
Poets for Hire can be found from 11am to 2pm at various spots in the city centre…
WHERE CAN YOU FIND HIM?
Lichfield Library on the ground floor of St Mary’s in the Market Square;
Eden Restaurant, Tamworth Street.
Melbourne at Bird Street.
