The Marks Artists Make
Wednesday 7 June | 19.00
Peter Walker, Lichfield Cathedral's Artist-in-residence, will be giving a special talk to round off the immensely successful exhibition Mr Turner comes to Lichfield. The talk will look at how artists have used the landscape as a means of expression, focusing on the Turner exhibition and referencing artists over time. It will also look at the curation of the exhibit, and how the Cathedral is represented in Art.
Following the talk there will be a Q&A session, and an opportunity to view the exhibition where Peter will be on hand to discuss the artworks. A glass of Bucks Fizz or fruit juice will be included.
Tickets £5 are available NOW from The Chapter Office, 19a The Close, Lichfield WS13 7LD, or you may purchase on the evening.
