City of London Sinfonia coming to Lichfield!
Great British Choral Anthems
Friday 7 October | 19.30 - 21.30
World-class City of London Sinfonia are coming to Lichfield Cathedral to perform pieces by Handel, Bach and MacMillan, and they'll be joined on stage by our very own Lichfield Cathedral Choir!
Handel's Coronation Anthems are made for the great setting of the Cathedral. James MacMillan, one of Britain's most revered composers, has written his own anthem especially for this tour, with support from Friends of Cathedral Music. Bach's music is poignant elegance in sound, synonymous with perfectionism.
