ECO - Churches Count on Nature

More than 50 young people with the help of 4 cathedral volunteers took part in the scheme run by Churches Count on Nature which is one of the Caring for God’s Acre’s national initiatives.

Lichfield Cathedral has joined 94 other churches across the diocese in a journey towards becoming dementia-friendly.

Join the Citizens' Parliament

As part of the Cathedral’s ongoing work to serve the local community we will be hosting a special citizen’s parliament on 6 April at 19:00. This citizens’ parliament will discuss the important topic of child poverty and wellbeing in the UK, hearing from the Chief Executive of The Children’s Society.

Helping Young People Find Hope

For the last year Lichfield Cathedral has been instrumental in helping almost 30 young unemployed people find valuable work placements across a number of job roles in the region, with still a few more placements to come.
