A legacy and estate planning information event will be held on Friday 7 November 2025 at 10am. The session will be delivered in partnership with Keelys LLP with Catherine Elliott, Head of Wills and Probate. Tea and coffee will be served. If you would like to attend or for more information, please contact the Development Team on development@lichfield-cathedral.org.
Legacy gifts can be used to support a wide range of activities that support the Cathedral’s life and mission for generations to come.
Anyone can leave a gift in their will. Making a will is important, as it ensures your wishes are carried out, and that your loved ones, and any charities you would like to support, are taken care of as your intend.
To contact a member of the team about leaving a gift in your will, please email legacy@lichfield-cathedral.org or call 01543 622460.
The St Chad Legacy Circle
Recognises all those who choose to share their legacy intentions with us, enabling the Cathedral to acknowledge and celebrate their generosity. Members of the Legacy Circle receive invitations to events and regular information about the Cathedral's life and work.
A Living Tradition
Bill Colman’s legacy gift enabled the restoration of the Tantony Bell, which has been rung before acts of public worship in the Cathedral for over 350 years. Thanks to Bill’s legacy, the bell has been repaired, refurbished and reinstalled to ring out before services for many more years to come.
“As an engineer, forever taking things apart and putting them together again, Bill would have loved this project”. - Jane Colman
