THE CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL

Thursday 4 December – Sunday 4 January 2026 | Open during visitor opening hours*

Come and see a wonderful festive array of real Christmas trees, decorated by local businesses, schools, and charities.

New for 2025: This year, enjoy an exciting addition: a spectacular selection of wreaths showcased on the Fenland Black Oak table.

Voting tokens are available (we ask for a small donation of £1 per token) for you to vote for your favourite tree and winners will be announced in each category.

*Please note: We may temporarily close the display for services, where required. The tree festival will be closed Monday-Saturday from 12:30-13:15 for the Eucharist service. 

All funds raised will go to The Friends of Lichfield Cathedral, who support the work of the Cathedral.
