Good Luck Eilidh!
We are delighted that Year 8 Girl Chorister, Eilidh Owen, will be representing Lichfield Cathedral and Cathedral School in a concert at St Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday 27 April at 19.30.
Eilidh has been working hard to learn the repertoire for an exciting programme that will launch the Friends of Cathedral Music’s Diamond Fund for Choristers. The hope is to raise £10 million by 2020 to continue to support this priceless heritage.
The Choir of St Paul’s is being joined by choristers representing the majority of cathedrals in the UK to help celebrate the FCM’s Diamond Jubilee.
The concert will be hosted by Aled Jones, and television personality Alexander Armstrong will be talking about his own experiences as a Cathedral Chorister.
Tickets for the event, which is being promoted by Classic FM, are still available by phone on 044 944 04444 or online here.
