Election to the Cathedral Council
The time has come for members of the Cathedral Community (congregation, staff and volunteers) to elect two members to serve on the Cathedral Council. The elections will take place on Sunday 26 February. Only those on the Cathedral Community Roll are eligible to stand for election or to vote. If you would like some additional information about the elections you will find a briefing document here - hard copies will also be available from the the Chapter Office from Monday 30 January. Nominations must be received by 14 February and these will then be advertised at the West End of the Cathedral from the 17 February to the 27 February.
Should more than two nominations be received voting will take place in the South Transept of the Cathedral on Sunday 26 February from 08.30 - 10.00, from 11.45 - 13.00 and from 16.15 - 17.00; and on Monday 27 February from 10.00 - 12.00 (noon).
A postal ballot will also be available to download on this website or a copy can be posted if you register your interest with email@example.com. Postal ballots must be returned by 12.00 (noon) on the 27 February.
The announcement will be made on the 28 February at 17:30 prior to Evensong.
