The City of Lichfield joins in song

songsforacityOver 400 members of the Lichfield Community came together this week for the annual ‘Songs for a City’ service, for all those involved in the commercial, voluntary and official life of the City. The service, in its third year, was a thank you for all that they do for Lichfield – a celebration and thanksgiving for everyone and everything that sustains the economic life of Lichfield.

The service included plenty of opportunity for people to sing well-loved carols, led by the Cathedral Choir, as well as readings, prayers and a short message from the Dean of Lichfield. The service was followed by mince pies and punch, served in the Cathedral. Refreshments were kindly sponsored this year by Keelys Solicitors (of Dam Street, Lichfield).
