On the 18th June 2011 starting at 8am, eight intrepid cyclists (all members of the Friends of Lichfield Cathedral) cycled 314 miles, the distance from Lindisfarne to Lichfield via Lastingham and York.  This was a static cycle ride at the West Front of the Cathedral in aid of the East End Appeal. The community group completed the challenge in just five and a half hours and a great team effort was made. Congratulations to everyone involved!
