In June 2010, students from Staffordshire University filmed the 'Growing Grotesque' time lapse animation project at Lichfield Cathedral. This project captured the work of Phil Barnacle (Master Stone Mason from MCL), as he created a new grotesque for the East End of Lichfield Cathedral, as part of the Phase III renovation project. This project was completed by Jim Southwell (Photography Animation) and Emma Harrison (Project Manager) and funded through Lichfield District Council.
