Lichfield Cathedral is proud to be working in partnership with Staffordshire Performing Arts to deliver the charming cantata 'Captain Noah and His Floating Zoo' for soloist and children's choir written by Michael Flanders and Joseph Horovitz. This timelessly popular work will involve young singers from local Lichfield church schools as part of the Cathedral and Cathedral Schools' MusicShare programme.

Schools involved are all Lichfield schools: St Chad ’s CE (VC) Primary School, St Michael’s CE (VC) Primary School and Christ Church CE (VC) Primary School, Lichfield.  n.  The narration will be sung by none other than our very own Philip Lancaster, Bass Lay Vicar Choral.  It will be conducted by Cathy Lamb who has hosted several massed rehearsals in the Cathedral and then the schools have been working very hard in their own time.  It is an extension of our MusicShare programme, which has benn running since 2003.
